Exhibition Proposals

The ACP welcomes submissions from photographers and photo-based artists across Australia, either individually or collectively. The ACP also welcomes exhibition proposals from independent curators in Australia.

In order to ensure that all submissions are reviewed fairly and in the same manner the exhibitions committee meets twice a year to consider exhibition proposals collectively. Where appropriate they take outside specialist advice to inform the decision-making process.

The ACP is committed to showing the work of artists from across Australia in a dynamic program of national and international excellence.

The ACP is committed to a program that reflects the cultural diversity of this country, as well as the diversity of the photographic medium, from classic black and white and colour prints through installation and cross media projects to new technology and non-narrative video.
