The 'Pink Flamingo' is a flamboyant skateboarding
trick emulating its avian counterpart, poised
elegantly on one leg. The trick is rarely witnessed
and difficult to achieve. Skater and photographer
Tristan Still sought out the largest Polaroid
camera in the world to create portraits of his
peers from a subculture driven by movement and
speed in an uncharacteristic moment of stillness.
Pink Flamingos is a series of unique
photographic prints made on a Sydney rooftop over
the course of a single day.
