The third and final exhibition in our season at
the interface of art and popular culture, this
exhibition showcases two dominant forms in
contemporary urban scene: the fly poster and the
zine. Curated by Misha Hollenbach and Shauna
Toohey, the creative team behind the
internationally acclaimed Melbourne-based PAM
design label, the photocopier posters and radical
zines are presented within a total concept
environment. Ultra stylised and fiercely
specialist, the installation brings together work
by scores of photographers and artists from the
diverse backgrounds: Asian skate culture, American
graffiti art and Australian underground and much
more...
