It's young, it's diverse and it's
all-Australian. Twelve photo-artists from seven
states and territories come together in Sydney's
coolest summer show. From images of Japanese
eroticism to Australian suburban housing to the
personal identity and the angst of what other
people think, it's a kaleidoscope of creative
talent. This year we are proud to announce the
inaugural Photo Technica Award for New Australian
Photo-Artist 1998, was presented to Andrew
McLaughlin from Bacchus Marsh in rural Victoria by
Deborah Rando MD.

The
Nikon Award for ACP Student of the Year
1998
Foyer
Over 500 students pass through ACP Creative Learning
every year, learning everything from basic camera
craft to specialist courses such as fashion,
portraiture and editorial photography. This year we
are proud to announce the inaugural Nikon Award for
ACP Student of the Year. An exhibition of the
finalists can be seen in the main foyer. This year
we are proud to announce the Nikon Award for ACP
Student of the Year, was presented to Bruce Taper
from Bond by John Swanston the managing director of
Maxwell Optical Industries.
The inaugural presentation of this exhibition and
award generously sponsored by Nikon Cameras.
