'Breath of Life' was an exhibition featuring
the work of Aboriginal activist and artist Kevin
Gilbert (1933-1993) and photographer Eleanor
Williams. It covered a thirty year period and
included linocuts made by Kevin Gilbert in the
1960s to photographs made by Eleanor Williams in
1996. The later documented protests against cuts to
Aboriginal spending imposed by the first John
Howard led Federal Coalition Ministry.
